The Best Hair Salons & Barbers

Elmwood Village/North Buffalo

Jennifer Julia Salon – This cozy, laid back salon is located in the heart of the Elmwood Village just 7 minutes from our Main Jewett Apartments and employs some of the most talented stylists in the area. As a Bumble and bumble salon, the staff is consistently educated and updated on the latest trends. While they have an all-woman staff, they have plenty of male clients who appreciate their expertise. They also sell Bumble and bumble’s awesome hair products for both men and women right at the salon if you need to pick anything up.

Rust Belt Barbering & Salon Co. – While they do offer women’s haircuts, Rust Belt Barbering & Salon primarily caters to men and offers variety of barbering services from cuts to shaves and even waxes. Their specialties include undercuts and unique designs in line with the latest trends. This funky Elmwood Village spot is less than 10 minutes from our North Buffalo apartment properties, so if you need a quick cut, you can be there and back within an hour.

Hair By Jordan Pursel – After working for a local salon for many years, Jordan Pursel recently stepped out and opened her own salon on Hertel Ave., to the delight of many of her loyal clients. She specializes in balayage and other hair coloring techniques, and is also skilled in men’s barbering and razor styles. Her North Buffalo space is warm and inviting, perfect for visiting and getting some self-care in after the craziness of the holiday season — and luckily, the salon is just a 3-minute drive from our Delaware Park Apartments and Tudor Gardens Townhouses and 5 minutes from our Main Jewett Apartments.

Kenmore/Tonawanda/North Tonawanda

Halo Salon – Halo Salon is a fashionable, sophisticated salon located on Delaware Ave. in Kenmore. Their talented artists are proficient in a wide range of hair services, including the latest in hair color technology, hair extensions and Brazilian Blowouts, in addition to other services like waxing and eyelash extensions. If you like being pampered in a serene setting, Halo is definitely worth a visit — especially since it’s less than 1 minute down the road from our KenDev Studios and just 5 minutes from our Ralston Elmwood Apartments and Sheridan Manor Apartments.

Salon La Moda – Salon La Moda has been providing award-winning haircutting services for over 18 years. Their new state-of-the-art facility is located on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Tonawanda, housing a large, talented staff. Salon specialties include hair cutting, customized hair coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, waxing, makeup application and their “Deva Cutting” technique, designed for women with curly hair. Even better: the salon is only about 10 minutes from all of our Kenmore Apartments and apartments in the Town of Tonawanda, City of Tonawanda and North Tonawanda.

Jonny the Barber – Always up to speed on the latest trends, this stylish barbershop is highly regarded among the men of Buffalo, even counting some members of the Buffalo Sabres as clients. Jonny the Barber is located on Delaware St. in Tonawanda and specializes in modern American cuts such as slick backs, fades and razor shaves. The popular shop is just a 5-minute drive from our KenDev Studios, Riverview Manor Apartments and Gateway Park Apartments and 10 minutes from our Witmer Road Apartments, so it’s easy to pop in for a quick cut and shave — and you may even see a Sabre while you’re there.

Giovanni’s Hair Fashions – Located on Delaware Ave. in Tonawanda, this family-owned salon has been operating for over 55 years — and their prices haven’t changed much. Their affordable services range from haircuts to coloring, waxing and makeup. Need a quick touch up or blow out? Giovanni is only about 5 minutes from our Riverview Manor Apartments, Sheridan Residence and Gateway Park Apartments and 10 minutes from our Witmer Road Apartments.

Niagara Falls / Sanborn

Vogue Salon and Back Bar – Vogue Salon is a comfortable, intimate salon, offering men’s and women’s cuts, spa treatments and massage therapy. For a fun twist, they offer cocktail menus for hair treatments, which are named after alcoholic beverages. Ziggy’s Barber Shop – If you live in Sanborn, you don’t have to drive far to get a great haircut. Ziggy’s is located on Buffalo St. in Sanborn, just a 3-minute drive from our Sanborn Meadow Apartments. In addition to haircuts, Ziggy’s offers shaves and beard trims. If you’re looking for affordable and professional barber service in a clean, vintage setting, Ziggy’s is the place to go.
