There will be live music, free parking and a spectacular fireworks show after the ball drops. If you love the traditional New Year’s experience, this is an event that can’t be missed.
New Year’s Eve at 500 Pearl – Celebrate New Year’s in style at 500 Pearl. There are two ticket tiers with two separate bars. The main ticket tier is $75 and includes access to night club W XYZ, which will feature an open bar, snacks, desserts and a champagne toast, as well as a DJ, disco-themed dance floor and photo booth. Or, if you’re feeling fancy, upgrade to the VIP party for $175 to take in unobstructed views of Downtown Buffalo at Patrick’s Rooftop, a raw seafood bar, upgraded alcohol offerings and access to the dance floor at W XYZ all night. There are only 75 VIP tickets available, so reserve your spot ahead of time if you plan on upgrading.
A New Year’s Eve 007 Affair – Love James Bond? Dress like the stylish spy (or grab your bathrobe, evening gown or scuba gear) and check out the killer views at the Terrace at Delaware Park this New Year’s Eve. Featuring a mini casino with blackjack and roulette, as well as a special martini bar and artisan menu with dishes such as tenderloin au Poivre, smoked duck breast and champagne truffles, this high-class New Year’s party is not to be missed. Tickets are $120 for singles and $220 for couples.
New Year’s Eve at Colter Bay – If you’re looking for a party that’s a little more low-key, check out Colter Bay’s New Year’s Eve party. The event costs $80 and gets you access to an open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., bar food favorites, a champagne toast and DJ party. The party is limited to 100 people, so it’s a great choice if you’re looking to avoid the wild crowds.
Brew Year’s Eve at Buffalo Riverworks – Another calmer New Year’s option, Brew Year’s Eve at Buffalo Riverworks is a great event for craft beer enthusiasts who want to take advantage of access to all of the great beers There will be live music from the XOXO Pop Band and an appearance by DJ Sike as well as hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert and an open bar. Single tickets are $99, and couples are $189. If you’ve got a big group, you can reserve a 10-person table for $1200.
Buffalo Iron Works New Year’s Eve Silent Disco – Don’t want to spend $100 on a fancy night out? Check out the New Year’s Eve Silent Disco at Buffalo Iron Works. Tickets are just $15 ($20 at the door) for access to a three-channel silent disco that will include Electronic Dance Music, hip hop/R&B and Top 40/throwback hits. There will be a live DJ spinning tunes as well as a professional lighting show and a midnight champagne toast. If you’ve never been to a silent disco, it’s a party where people dance to music that they listen to on wireless headphones. According to Wikipedia, at a silent disco, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter as opposed to a speaker system. This signal is picked up by wireless headphones that people at the disco wear. From the outside, it looks silent as everyone dances to the beat of their own music, but they’re all dancing together. Ring in the New Year with something you’ve never done before and take part in this fun and unique event.
Helium Comedy Club: New Year’s Eve with Jon Dore – Not looking for a huge dance party? Enjoy an upscale dinner at Helium Comedy Club’s Elements restaurant, followed by a hilarious comedy show with actor and comedian Jon Dore. The 10:30 p.m. showtime includes party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. All ticket purchasers will also receive a free ticket voucher to a future show. Tickets are $34 for the 8 p.m. comedy show alone and $89 for the dinner + comedy show package. For the 10:30 p.m. show, you’ll pay $39 for the show alone and $99 for the dinner + show package.
