Oct 26, 2016 – The spookiest night on the year is less than one week away!!! So we’ve compiled a list of some of the great festivals and parties all over Western New York leading up to and on Halloween. So no matter how you like to celebrate October 31st, there’s an event listed below to help you get into the Halloween spirit, pun intended!

Annual Galleria of Treats

October 27th     Walden Galleria Mall 1 Galleria Drive, Buffalo (716) 681-7600 waldengalleria.com Looking for some safe fun for the kids this Halloween? Walden Galleria’s Annual Galleria of Treats Trick-or-Treating Event is from 11am–8pm on the lower level near Forever 21! Channel 2 On Your Side will be offering treats and prizes in their unique Pumpkin Patch in the center of all the action!

Boulevard Mall Trick-or-Treat

October 27th     Boulevard Mall 730 Alberta Drive, Amherst (716) 834-8600 boulevard-mall.com Bring the little goblins in costume for trick-or-treating at participating stores beginning at 5:30pm. No adult masks or scary costumes, please. Bring a non-perishable food item to Guest Services during Trick-or-Treat to support the Food Bank of WNY!

2nd Annual Boo Bash

October 28th     Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls, USA 1900 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716) 297-2022 fashionoutletsniagara.com Bring your little ghosts and goblins to this FREE indoor Trick-or-Treating event where kids will collect candy from dozens of Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls stores and outside vendors! Additional family fun activities will be offered for just $1.00 each, with proceeds benefiting UNITED WAY of Greater Niagara, including Balloon artists, Spooktacular costume contest, Face painter, and Halloween-themed crafts.

Halloween Happenings

October 29th Aquarium of Niagara 701 Whirlpool Street, Niagara Falls, NY (716) 285-3575 ext. 0 aquariumofniagara.org There will be spooky happenings at the Aquarium 4-7pm. Join us for a fun-filled celebration complete with contests, crafts, a spectacular animal show and prizes. All children in costume and members enter free. Halloween sleepover begins at 7:30pm. All Hallows Eve

October 29th The Buffalo History Museum One Museum Court, Buffalo (716) 873-9644 ext. 301 www.buffalohistory.org Bring the little ones to the Museum for day-time Halloween fun from 10am-1pm. Paint pumpkins and participate in other spooky activities! Members free; museum admission.

Howl-o-Ween Hayrides

October 29th-30th     Buffalo Zoo 300 Parkside Avenue, Buffalo (716) 837-3900 www.buffalozoo.org There’s something for every boy and “ghoul” at this friendly, not frightful event! From 4-7 p.m. everyone will enjoy treat stations, hayrides, games, apple cider and donuts. We strongly encourage children to come dressed in their favorite Halloween attire and participate in our costume parade! Call or visit the website for more info.

Kenilworth Haunted House and Costume Contest

October 31st from 6:30-8:30pm – Kenilworth Fire Hall, 84 Hawthorne Ave., Buffalo 14223

This kid friendly, free event starts with a parade leading to the fire hall. Cider, coffee, candy, doughnuts and fun are all provided free of charge!!!  Our local volunteer firefights supply family-friendly frights for all those who dare to enter.

The Witches Ball – Annual Masquerade Halloween Escapade

October 28th all day Statler City 107 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY, 14202, Downtown

Tickets on sale now – A huge themed Halloween Party in the center of Downtown Buffalo – live music, food, costumes, tons of decoration, and more.

1st Annual Showplace Halloween Party!

October 28th  from 7:00 pm-??? – The Showplace Theatre, 1065 Grant St., Buffalo, NY, 14207-2854, North Buffalo – Tickets:  $15.00

Join us for our GRAND REOPENING Halloween party, where you‘ll see all the renovations like a new bar, new stage, with all new light and sound. This party is hosted by DJ Anthony and Shy Guy Shawn featuring LIVE on stage DJ Paul Foxe, Sammy Diaz, and Buffalo’s Legendary DJs spinning old skool jams all the way up to today dance hits. Costume contest with $3,000 in cash, prizes, and giveaways. $1,500 in cold hard cash goes to the 1st place costume winner.
